You can begin changing your life by asking yourself what do I need to accomplish in the next 90 days to succeed and what have I done in the last 90 that isn’t working. A 90-day action strategy produces results fueled by your organized and intentional action. What does that mean? It means when you focus on the goal on purpose you increase your odds of success in an accelerated amount of time. It’s just a matter of deciding what you want and working backward to fill in the blanks to get there. You know it’s often easier to get to the place you’ve been before rather than trying to identify a new place. So the secret is to start at the end and work your way back to where you are at this very moment.
To do this you must be able to envision your desired destination in detail. You must make this place so real you ca almost touch it, you recognize the smells and the details become engraved in your brain.
There are 5 simple steps to help you create a blueprint that help you see and manage the big picture.
- List the 5 things that you would like to accomplish in the next 90 days
Be specific as possible, make sure you can measure the outcomes and progress and the timeframe to accomplish it is reasonable or realistic.
- Identify a maximum of 5 Action Steps which are task that help you achieve the goal
Make sure the task are actionable and straight to the point
- Get a calendar to see the big picture and track progress
Fill in the task needed to be accomplished on the deadline date. This will provide a snapshot of what you need to prepare for.
- List the resources, tools or human capital that you need to accomplish the task.
For everything you do you must know what you need to do it. Identify the tools and resources that must be obtained to make your vision a reality.
- Keep a daily tracking log that will list that task for each day and allow you to cross them off.
As you complete a task, cross it off and celebrate your progress. get in the habit of patting yourself on the back for wins.
