Greek philosopher and author Plato said, ‘Necessity is the mother of invention’. What an amazingly true statement! You would be amazed at how creative you can be when you really need to be. I think of the invention called the backscratcher. I would image someone suffered with an incredibly itchy back, got tired of being uncomfortable and decided something needed to be done about it. And what they created impacted the world.
Perhaps God is allowing your uncomfortable situation to linger just long enough for you to create a book, a song, an invention or even a movement that will impact the world. Just make sure that what you’re calling ‘manure’ isn’t really the ‘fertilizer’ that is helping you develop something you need to sell to bring you millions.
