The California preacher who said Judgment Day would take place on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 says he is “flabbergasted” that the world did not come to an end this past weekend.

As we previously reported, 89-year-old radio preacher Harold Camping convinced hundreds of his Family Radio followers that the rapture would occur on Saturday at 6 p.m. Many of his followers left loved ones and sold their life possessions to follow Camping and his message.

Camping preached that on May 21st massive earthquakes would strike the earth, at which point believers would ascend to heaven and the rest of the world’s population would live in misery until the world came to a fiery end on October 21st.

Camping falsely predicted in 1993 that the world would end in 1994.
