The Grammy Museum will welcome 7-Time Grammy Nominated Gospel Recording Artist Melvin Williams to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation about his five-decade long career in the music industry. We, of course, know that along with his solo career, he has been a member of The Williams Brothers, along with his brother Doug and other family members. With hit songs such as “Still Here”, “I’m Just a Nobody”, “Sweep Around” and “Living Testimony” to name a few, The Williams Brothers are considered royalty in the gospel music industry.
The Grammy Museum at L.A. Live is located in downtown Los Angeles and welcomes visitors year round from all parts of the world. We are thankful that they have chosen to honor one of gospel music’s finest with such a special event. Earlier in the day, they will also feature an educational component for middle and high school students.
“An Evening with Melvin Williams” takes place Wednesday, October 5, 2017 at 8:00pm.
