Coming in to work one day I saw some ladies getting out of their car in the parking lot. I decided to speak and they didn’t speak back. I thought they didn’t hear me so I said it louder. ‘I heard you the first time’ was the reply of one of them and they kept walking. What added insult to injury was the bumper sticker they had on their car that said ‘God is my pilot’. SMH. Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life. I have yet to see a difficult situation that kindness didn’t at least HELP. Often we fight to: make our point, not be run over, or appear weak/less than. Maybe we should consider fighting to be the first to be KIND.
