Learn to accept people for who they are … humans. Despite how lofty their title (pastor, husband, wife, mother, father, politician) or how you may need them to be ‘super human’ at times, they were never created to be the resting place of 100% of your confidence. People are humans, therefore, prone to err. Sometimes we subconsciously expect people to be more than what we are just because we need them to be. Place your ultimate trust where it should be … in God who is not human, does not fail, and has the heart of even the king in His hand. Though this mindset may not erase the consequences of any error, knowing that God is in control will give you personal stability and peace of mind in an unstable world of humans.

Psalm 146:3, 5 (New International Version) -Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save … Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.
