There was a season in my life that I often found myself praying, ‘God, you are all I have!’ The prayer was associated with feelings of severe anxiety. ‘Everything else is gone and all I’m left with is You!’ Eventually God answered my prayer and said, ‘I’m all you have but I’m also all you need. Who do you think allowed it all to be taken?’
Often we lean heavily on things, people, relationships and stuff in general way more than we should. We get lazy and start depending on them as our source and that eventually compromises our true effectiveness. God is THE source. Everything else is a REsource, There are seasons that God removes REsources to jolt us into reconnecting with Him … THE source.
