The car I drive now has a feature called blind spot detection or BSD. It’s a system that enables me, or anyone driving my car, to detect when a vehicle has entered a blind spot to the rear or side of the car. At first I thought it was just nice to have. Now I can’t imagine driving without it. You never know how often danger is near you because it’s quietly moving along with you in your blind spot. This is true in our day to day lives as well. That’s why it’s important to have a circle of praying friends that can have your back and see what you can’t see. I can’t begin to tell you how many times danger has been averted in my life because of the prayers of the righteous. Sometimes it was spiritual warfare. Other times it was just solid wisdom from someone who could see what I couldn’t. Intertwine your life with people who have active prayer lives because whether you know it or not, danger is lurking in your blind spots.
