Keep the lines of communication open and free.  Encourage open dialogue and be honest with the answers you give your employees

Promote wellness, Exercise together

Develop a wellness program where you have a group fitness instructor come into the office before or after work a few times per week.  Believe it o not  working out can be as effective in helping to increase happiness as anti-depression medication. And doing it as an office will build camaraderie.

Become a team that does an extra curricular activity

There are softball, and kickball leagues, flag football, all kinds of sports leagues throughout the city.  Look into one and form a team with your company.  It is a great way to get to know other people and gets people excited and working together on a different level.

Assign an employee advocate

If you are a small company and you don’t have a human resources manager, it is still really important to have a person available tht your employees are comfortable talking to that genuinely care about your business and the people who handle your business. And it’s a great way for you to get feedback from your employees about what’s going on.

Create an Encouragement  box

At the end of the month, there can be a drawing where the person who wins something that would be envied..
