I recently buried my mother after an unexpected death. It was not easy, but what was easy was doing her obituary. All we had to do was talk about her life and works. It made us proud to not have to fluff or add fillers to it. It was a known fact that Mama loved God and she loved people. Is your life, as it currently is being lived, something you would be proud to have read in front of an audience at your funeral? Would people say it was a pleasure when you walked into a room? Would they say you cared about others? Would they say you were kind, loving or patient? Our impact on others is vital. You and God shouldn’t be the only ones who knew your heart. Others need to know AND feel it too..
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
