Terrell Owens Reportedly Rushed To Hospital Due To Overdose

Terrell Owens has had a tough year. The currently unemployed wide receiver is recovering from a torn ACL – an injury that he went as far as traveling to South Korea for stem cell treatment in an effort to get back on the field. But the hits keep coming. TMZ is reporting that the charismatic receiver was rushed to the hospital last week for unknown reasons.

The gossip site reports that a 911 call was made from an apartment in Los Angeles where Owens was staying. The police were also called, though it is unclear why.

Owens rode an ambulance to the hospital, where police followed up with him. He has since been released without a statement from either the police or Owens’ representatives.
