Add Tyler Perry to the new Forbes magazine list of the highest-paid men in entertainment. The Atlanta-based actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author’s films have raked in more than $500 million worldwide.
Perry beat out the man responsible for The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who earned a reported $113 million over the course of the year, and “X Factor” judge/creator Simon Cowell rounds out the top five with $90 million.
