Fill Empty Stockings with Love this Holiday

The Empty Stocking Fund, based here in Atlanta, is providing toys and gifts to more than 50,000 children who otherwise wouldn’t get anything.  The Empty Stocking Fund also empowers parents of children living at or below the poverty level by giving them the opportunity to give gifts to their children with dignity at Christmas time. Help the Red Cross Give Gifts that Save Lives

The American Red Cross is asking for donations for their “Gifts that Save the Day”, a Holiday giving campaign that inspires people to make gifts that can help families in need. Bring your family to see the True Colors Theatre Company present Black Nativity, November 30 until December 13th at the Southwest Arts Center. It’s a beautiful soul-stirring musical of the birth of Jesus Christ. CAN hunger for Christmas

Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless is collecting canned goods and food to feed thousands of needy families this Christmas.  They are especially looking for yams, corn and green beans, but this list changes so log onto their website for an updated list.
