Another fire has broken out at Tyler Perry Studios in southwest Atlanta. Atlanta firefighters were on the scene late Monday morning working to put out the fire. It’s the second blaze in recent months at the film studio.
Fire officials haven’t released much information yet, but reports are saying that construction materials were on fire on top of one of the complex’s buildings.
This past May, the exterior of a building at the 30-acre studio was heavily damaged by fire. Tyler Perry Studios opened in 2008 and features a 200,000-square-foot studio, sets, sound stages and a 400-seat theater. The studio held a fundraiser for President Obama in March.
