The Lifetime network has released the trailer for their remake of Steel Magnolias.
The remake features an all-black starring cast, including Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard, Jill Scott and Queen Latifah. The remake, which was shot in Atlanta, will premiere on Lifetime in September.
The remake chronicles the lives and friendship of six women in Louisiana as they support each other through their triumphs and tragedies.
