Rev. Al Sharpton will broadcast his nationally syndicated radio show live this afternoon (1-4 p.m) from Wall Street where the Occupy Wall Street protests are going on.
Sharpton will air his show live from Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan.
He said he wants to show that more than just those that are showed on TV screens are concerned about these economic issues. Hundreds of protesters have “occupied” Zuccotti Park where they have been camped out around the clock for over three weeks.
“We want to show that those that are raising issues on Wall Street are as concerned about the economy and that Blacks and Latinos have grave concerns about economic issues and jobs.”
