On the latest edition of iPraise Live we sat down with Phil Thompson and discussed is emergence from behind the pen, to in front of the mic, as his gospel music has taken him all across the world. Thompson, who was nominated for NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR at 2019 Stellar Awards, has seen much success as of late. His full album debuted #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Charts.
His single, “My Worship” quickly became a Sunday morning staple at churches worldwide and broke TOP 30 on Gospel radio charts. After garnering more than 1 million views on YouTube in just two short months, “My Worship” crossed internationally and was covered on social media by people in various languages including Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
