We’ve just been informed that beloved actor Alan Thicke, 69 has passed away from an apparent heart attack.
TMZ reports Thicke was playing hockey with his son Carter, 19, when he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to a Burbank hospital around noon. Doctors could not revive Thicke and he was later pronounced dead.
He leaves behind son and singer Robin Thicke, Brennan Thicke, Carter and his wife Tanya.
Thicke was most known for his role in the 80’s as Jason Seaver on “Growing Pains” but was also a spokesperson for several brands, and even wrote famous TV show theme songs for “Diff’rent Strokes,” “Wheel of Fortune” as well as “Growing Pains.”
