We don’t see things as THEY are. We see things as WE are. Your spirit is like a camera lens. A bad spirit will make everything you look at look different than what it really is. When your spirit isn’t right you can’t judge things properly. Sometimes the only real change you need is a change of lens.
Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
