Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see. I want to take time today to address folks who think it’s ok to be a ‘jerk’ in Jesus’ name. It’s not cool that you can speak in tongues in 6 different languages under the anointing, but can’t speak kindly to people in English. It’s a disgrace to be known as both a Christian AND an unkind person. Even if you’re right. Sometimes it truly is not WHAT you said but HOW you said it. Let’s do better. We have an important message to deliver. Let’s not let a lack of kindness make people not want to hear it.
Proverbs 11:17 – A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself.
