As I watched the Grammy’s last night, I noticed that there were moments that were purposed to inspire. I noticed that Pharell used a choir during his performance of “Happy” and at the very end of his performance he said “I am at your service Lord.” Hozier performed his hit single “Take Me to Church” and performed the song with 80’s pop legend Annie Lennox. The lyric that stands out is “I was born sick, but I love it, command me to be well Amen, Amen, Amen. Take me to church I’ll worship like a dog.” Madonna brings a gospel choir out to perform with her and the diamond Bull Faces as she sang “Living for Love” . Beyonce came out and performed “Precious Lord take my hand” right before John Legend and Common performed “Glory”. Something is changing in the industry. I believe that people are finding the power of inspiration and spirituality. To many believers in the faith, we could choose to sit back in judgment or recognize an outcry for God. There are those of us who are accustomed to recognizing the presence of God and the anointing. However there are so many people who Have not had an encounter with the Holy Spirit and the Power of God but they want to because they want to know Him. What are your thoughts?
