Jill Scott is a little tired of seeing music artists pretending to be something that they’re not.
The Philly native recently sent a message to those who might want to project the lavish lifestyle that they’re not yet living and encouraged them to enjoy what they do have and not fake about what they don’t.
“What I see is trying to make sure that everybody thinks you have more than what you actually have,” she explained to the DJs at a New York radio station.
“What’s the point if you actually don’t have it? If you don’t have it, then you don’t have it. Have what you have. Enjoy that,” she advised.
