Some things in life you just have to take your hands off of and let them play out. This is not always the easiest thing to do especially when it comes to your children, family or loved ones. You can only do what you can do. For the rest, you just have to put in the hands of God. We don’t always know what God’s ultimate plan is for a person. Sometimes God has a person’s path going through the fire to burn off some undesirable stuff and you the loved one have PRAY to keep from interfering with what HAS to play itself out. Again, this is not always easy, but necessary. Just remember, God has you AND them covered. Just don’t stop the source of your strength… prayer.
Philippians 4:6,7 – Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
