After months of failing to live up to the success of her extraordinarily popular television talk show, Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network is undergoing a makeover.

According to Forbes, Winfrey and Discovery Communications are upping the network’s advertising push as well as featuring two of the network’s biggest stars, Winfrey herself and Rosie O’Donnell.

Adding to a laundry list of problems the channel has faced — too high on the channel guide, unclear brand, not enough programming or Oprah — Winfrey herself admitted that she and her team had been too distracted by wrapping up her marquee show that not enough attention was paid to OWN’s launch.
