Reverend Jesse Jackson wants to revive the “War on Poverty.”

Reflecting on former President Lyndon B. Johnson’s efforts, Jackon commended the nation’s introduction of Medicare, Medicaid, and the Trial Nutrition Act.

“If we can bailout banks if we can reconstruct Iran and Afghanistan then we can do a war on poverty that works,” Jackson told MSNBC.
