Atlanta’s women’s football team is here, and they’re building something much bigger than wins and losses.
Reec sits down at Majic 107.5/97.5 with the leadership and talent behind the Atlanta Truth, including Dr. Pam Larde, CEO of Tri-Legacy Sports Group, General Manager Tiger, and wide receiver Zoey, #82.
Dr. Larde explains Tri-Legacy Sports Group’s move into ownership and operations of the Atlanta Truth and the bigger vision behind investing in women’s sports. Heading into season three, GM Tiger discusses the mission to put women athletes on the map in a positive light while continuing to grow the team, recruit talent, and build meaningful partnerships.
Zoey gives the player’s perspective, balancing her role as a wide receiver for the Truth while also playing college football at Life University. Her story leads to an important conversation about what happens when a woman’s college playing career ends and how the WNFC provides athletes with an opportunity to continue competing at a high level.
The conversation goes beyond football as Reec and the ladies discuss mentorship, representation, and why it’s important for young girls to see the whole woman behind the helmet.
