I was going through an old journal I had from years ago and saw a prayer that I wrote down from one of my personal Bible studies. I was going through a pretty rough time in my life. A time that everything seemed so confusing. It was this prayer that got me through. Hope it is a blessing to you today!
Here it is
‘God since you allowed it… help me accept it. I know you know what’s best. Help me not let the inconveniences of not understanding my ‘right now’ make me resist what you’re planning for my ‘later on’. This trial is developing something in me that you know I need for the next level of my life. I asked you to mold me and you’re doing it. Thank you for your grace that is sufficient. I receive your strength that is made perfect in my weakness.’ – An old prayer from 7/15/93
