People don’t hate on you because you are mediocre. They hate on you because you’re good and you pose some type of either real or imagined threat to them. Your presence makes them feel insecure and they don’t know how to deal with it so they hate on you. The good news is that if you’re hated on, REJOICE! Your haters are your motivators that you’re doing something right.
Matthew 5:11-12 – Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
