We all have come to know Lenny Kravitz over the years for his music. In a new series on OWN called ‘Belief‘, we come to know something we never knew about him. He met God.
When Grammy award-winning musician Lenny Kravitz was just a boy, his mother sent him to sing in the California Boys’ Choir—mainly as a way of keeping him off the streets. The prestigious organization took music very seriously, pushing the boys day and night, which, Lenny says, landed him in the infirmary with the flu.
Through vivid, emotional storytelling and cinematic visual imagery, “Belief” in a 7 night episode event will attempt to show the best of faith and spiritual practices from around the world – the rituals, stories and relationships that bind us all together as human beings. This series will premiere on Sunday, October 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
