In what’s sure to be an important film for the ages, photos of Kerry Washington portraying Anita Hill were released in anticipation for the upcoming HBO movie, Confirmation.

The Scandal actress will portray Hill’s story, which ultimately launched the presence of sexual harassment rules in the workplace, according to The Huffington Post. Over 20 years ago, the law professor testified before an all-white, all-male Senate Judiciary Committee accusing then Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas of brutal sexual harassment 10 years prior. Her testimony was watched by millions of people during a national three-day televised event.

Shortly after HBO released a photo of Washington, the actress expressed her excitement on Instagram:

Hill, who is the current University Professor of Social Policy, Law, and Women’s Studies at Brandeis University, spoke on the legendary case with Jon Stewart in 2014. While promoting the documentary, Anita, the professor says the story will more than likely be enlightening for many teens and older millennials in the workplace.

“A generation of people who don’t even know that it happened are now going to work and experiencing this,” she said. “They see the signs now that say sexual harassment is prohibited, but they don’t know how we got there.”

Confirmation doesn’t have a release date just yet. The film follows the network’s recent release Bessie, with Queen Latifah starring as the “Empress of the Blues.”
