President Obama arrived in Atlanta at approximately 10:40 am this morning. He is town for a fundraiser and will also be addressing a group of veterans.

Obama was greeted by Gov. Sonny Perdue, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Congressmen John Lewis, David Scott and Sanford Bishop. Also present was the commander of the 94th airlift wing Col. Timothy E. Tarchick.

Obama shared a laugh with Perdue before he entered his motorcade under cloudy skies and set off for the Hyatt Regency downtown, where the fundraiser is being held.
