Protestors flooded the streets of downtown Dallas in response to George Floyd’s Death this past weekend. What began as a peaceful protest ended violently after tear gas was sprayed by law enforcement, car explosions, and looting took place. This forced most businesses in South Victory, including the American Airlines Center and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science to install plywood in over their glass windows to prevent looting. According to Cheif Of Police, Renee Hall, over 100 people were arrested over the weekend. Many whom were not from Dallas but lived in surrounding areas in North Texas.
