As part of the festivities for the historic second inauguration of President Barack Obama, the 2013 Second Chances Gospel Concert and Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Washington, DC.

The event will feature DC’s own veteran psalmist “The Minister John Butler,” gospel artists from the Capitol area and national recording artists such as Earl Bynum and The Mount. Musical performances will trace the African-American story from the Civil Rights Movement to the present. The inauguration also coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

General admission tickets are $25 and deluxe passes are $55, which include preferred seating and a meet and greet with artists. Tickets can be purchased online at http://capitalaffair2013inauguralevents.eventbrite.com/#.
