Love gives. Lust takes. Love is selfLESS. Lust is selfISH. Love can wait. Lust can’t. This is a simple formula you should ask yourself if you’re ever trying to determine what spirit you are dealing with or operating in. This is one of the most humbling formulas I have when I feel like I just HAVE to be right or prove my point in my relationship.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8a Love never fails.
