This week’s Mary Mary episode “Proposed Hit” was all about working hard.
You can’t half step anything if you want something. How many times do you or someone you love try do something “just enough”? Erica and Tina were trying to do just that. They were looking for a hit, waiting on a Grammy nomination and trying to maintain their family.
Erica and Tina had to deliver a single and still have to deliver for their families at the best. When you miss one thing it can throw everything off. They were in the studio pushing as hard as they could when Tina’s vocals just started heading in a different direction. While Erica wanted to plow ahead, Tina wanted a chance to rest. Rest that both Warryn and Erica felt was not the right time or the right place. It became clear that an overcrowded schedule is beginning to take its toll on the ladies.
Finally, after focusing the ladies were able to lay down a track that not only they could be proud of but it was timely and catchy. Unfortunately, Tina’s overcrowded schedule led to her upsetting her sister by being late for an honor they were receiving. Needless to say, we have heard Erica complain about Tina’s lateness several time over. This will definitely be a subject we will visit again. The lateness just added more frustration to their taxed schedule.
How many times have you felt that all you were doing was just too great for you to accomplish? Do you just lay down and give up? No, as the girls say you go get it!
Make sure to share this with other Mary Mary fans so that they are always in the know.
