I know that you have every reason to throw a pity party. Things happened beyond your control. It wasn’t your fault, you didn’t see it coming, you weren’t prepared for that, It caught you off guard, and took you by surprise. True enough. However these are those elements that cause you to grow into making better decisions. Here is a fact that you can parallel to your behavior. Toddlers cry every time things don’t their way but a good parent will train their toddler how to stop crying and learn how to ask for what they need and accept no if they don’t receive it. I used to tell my kids to go play with something to get their mind off of the fact that they aren’t gonna get what they want. Throwing a tantrum set them back from what they wanted to get from me because it is not acceptable behavior to get what you want.
So today take a moment to celebrate the fact that you are here , alive, and able to hear another word of faith to propel you to the next place you have in destiny. Don’t complain today about what you are going through, throw away the decorations and cancel the invitations for your pity party because the truth of the matter is this..
