Donald Lawrence, Smokie Norful, Kierra Sheard, and Mary Mary are among those with leading nominations for the 25th Annual Stellar Awards.
Lawrence, nominated for a multitude of awards, including Artist of the Year, is being recognized for his 2009 effort “The Law of Confession Part 1”.
Up for eight nominations in total, “The Law of Confession Part 1” earns Lawrence nods for Urban/ Inspirational Single / Performance of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Year, Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year, CD of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year, and Song of the Year. Lawrence is also nominated for Producer of the Year.
Following Lawrence, Smokie Norful has received multiple nominations for his 2009 effort “Smokie Norful Live” including Male Vocalist of the Year and CD of the Year.
Mary Mary, Vickie Winans, Hezekiah Walker, CoCo McMillan, Shari Addison, Crystal Aikin, 5AM Praise, Darwin Hobbs, Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Paul S. Morton are also among those nominated for Stellar Awards.
