Possessing classic sounds of church-centered Gospel greats like The Clark Sisters, Clara Ward, and the Caravans-with an update, Rizen, comprised of Adriann and Aundrea Lewis, is an unbelievably explosive duo that is returning to the spotlight with the October 27th release of their third CD – FREE.
Produced by Aaron Lindsey (Marvin Sapp, Yolanda Adams) and Daniel Weatherspoon (Donald Lawrence, Darwin Hobbs), FREE is a 10-track CD that combines traditional and contemporary Gospel, with strong infusions of R&B and even rock. “Our parents let us listen to R&B because they knew we loved the music,” said Adriann, “and that was a great thing, because those influences contributed to our diversity as singers as we were growing up. But there’s no doubt about it, that classic gospel is in our blood, and what we love to sing the most.”
