Legendary BET host, Dr. Bobby Jones, from BET’s longest running gospel program, Bobby Jones Gospel continues with historic 29th season. Jones blessed the studio audience along with the award winning Nashville Super Choir with heart felt messages of hope and victory that will inspire everyone throughout your day.

Bobby Jones Gospel brings us another season of inspirational messages through song with this year’s theme, Blessed Beyond Belief. This popular gospel program delivers a variety of astonishing performances by some of gospel’s most influential artists as well as up-and-coming artists ready to make their mark in the music industry.

There were twenty spirit filled shows taped at BET Studio 2 in Washington D.C. July 24-26, 2009 and July 31- August 2, 2009. Each taping was packed with an enthusiastic audience who experienced up close the music ministry of many talented artists and special guests. Truly God was glorified during these tapings. Inspirational praise and worship filled each show that showcased a variety gospel music styles such as traditional, contemporary, and quartet. The audience responded to the music ministry of the artists with expressions of praise and worship.

Some of the shows we witnessed at the tapings featured new music from Kim Burrell, Vickie Winans accompanied by her nephew Tim Bowan Jr. , Darwin Hobbs, The Rance Allen Group, Karen Clark Sherd, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, BeBe and CeCe Winans to name a few of the performances.
