Singer, songwriter, and producer Jimi Cravity joined Erica Campbell on “Get Up Mornings” to discuss his latest single, Concrete Gold (God is Love Remix) featuring Tim Bowman Jr. Jimi expressed his excitement for the opportunity, saying, “I’m so excited to talk with you this morning.”

Campbell introduced the remix, praising the track before diving into the backstory of its creation. Jimi explained that being part of Faith City Music and traveling the world with them inspired the remix. His collaboration with Tim Bowman Jr. came naturally. “Tim is a vocal sensation… I thought, man, I really want Tim to do his thing on this song,” Jimi shared, adding that Bowman’s contribution came together effortlessly.

Jimi also spoke about his full album Superhuman, which he described as a “musical gumbo.” The album delves into the spiritual concept of humanity’s connection to God. “The inspiration behind Superhuman is understanding the beauty of what we have, the glory of God, the image of God within us, and how that makes us superhuman,” Jimi said. He emphasized how the Holy Spirit’s presence in believers enhances their lives.
Before wrapping up, Campbell and Jimi had some fun with his unique name, imagining him as a “secret agent” with the name Jimi Cravity. When asked about upcoming projects, Jimi mentioned that fans can stay connected with him via social media at @jimicravity and through his website.
