JaQuitta Williams of CBS Atlanta is doing a story that airs today and tomorrow about being jailed at the Gwinnett County Jail.
The 2-part series airs at 5pm and 11pm, today and tomorrow, on CBS Atlanta.
According to Williams, she “wanted viewers to see up close and personal what [jail’s] really like,” so she went through the process herself.
“I was handcuffed, fingerprinted, frisked, placed in a holding cell [and] spoke with some of the women there,” said Williams in an e-mail. “And then later changed into a Gwinnett County jail uniform and spent a night in lock up.”
