Harper-Archer Middle School in Atlanta is now officially John Lewis Invictus Academy. This isn’t the first metro Atlanta school to be named after the civil right icon. John Robert Lewis Elementary school opened in Brookhaven last year.
Police investigating Transgender woman murder

Police are investigating what lead to the murder of 32 year old “Tee Tee” Dangerfield a transgender woman who was shot outside an apartment complex in College Park. There have been two transgender people killed in Metro Atlanta within the past two weeks. Police have no suspects in this case and investigators still have not called this a hate crime.
