Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. It’s easy to do when it makes you look good like giving to the Red Cross. But what about when empathy makes you look bad? Can you resist the urge to get even with someone who is rude or short with you and just understand that maybe they’re having a bad day? Everybody is going through SOMETHING. Are you empathetic enough to REMAIN GROWN, not take it personally, but rather take it to God in prayer? Can you?
Leviticus 19:18 – ESV – You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
