You know when you’re doing your best. You know if you’re happy or not. You also know what you REALLY want … whether it’s right OR wrong. Growth begins with honesty. That’s the only way you’ll be able to truly grow from where you are to where you desire to be. If you NEED good but really WANT bad, don’t lie to yourself and don’t lie to God. Once you get comfortable with lying to yourself, it’s difficult to discern who you REALLY are and who you have convinced yourself that you are. Let’s be clear, God can handle your truth. Besides, He already knows. Talk to Him from where you ARE … Not from where you think you should be.
