Mixed race businessman thinking in office

We all have to earn a living. Sometimes that means working for other people and companies that you don’t own. I will caution you however to not to forget to build on YOUR legacy just as much as (if not more than) you build on theirs. God has given you a gift and skillset that is designed to help provide for your children’s children. That is one of the greatest returns on His investment of talent in your life. Your employer should get your best, but not your all. It’s important to lay a brick DAILY on the building of YOUR legacy. Truthfully, a company that you work for that you don’t own should primarily fulfill one purpose: to help you better accomplish your sole purpose for being birthed into the earth. The most effective people are keenly aware of the role of everything that consumes the majority of their time.

Ephesians 5:15-17 – Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
