In game 2 of the second round of the 2013 NBA playoffs, the Miami Heat won a very physical game against the Chicago Bulls. Quite physical in fact: 9 technical fouls and 2 ejections, but a win nonetheless. And that was just a GAME. How is it that we are in a WAR but many don’t expect the bruises and physicality that comes from it? God promised us victory. He didn’t promise us that it would be pretty. When you experience hiccups, setbacks, stumbles, disappointments, bumps and bruises as you do God’s work, allow me to congratulate in advance. You’re in a war that God has promised that you will WIN!
2 Corinthians 2:14 – We thank God for the power Christ has given us. He leads us and makes us win in everything. He speaks through us wherever we go. The Good News is like a sweet smell to those who hear it.
