Forgiveness is not always easy, but it IS necessary. God expects those He has forgiven to forgive others. So much so that He connects His forgiveness to ours. When we say things like, ‘God I know you forgave the one that hurt me, but I just can’t do that!’ What we are actually saying is, ‘God the blood your Son shed as he died an excruciating death on the cross may have been good enough for YOU, but I’M going to need something just a little STRONGER!
