Everyday you have a limited amount of energy and strength. So let’s not waste ANY on trying to please people who simply aren’t interested in who you genuinely are or what you bring to the table. Waste not another SECOND of energy on the critics. Critics aren’t your friend nor are they interested in being in your corner. Their name says what they are interested in … critiquing. Seriously, what does a critic really do? Nothing but talk about people who ARE doing something. No matter how well you do it, say it, bring it or present it, their focus is only on identifying what you did wrong and telling someone they were smart enough to catch it first. You will NEVER please them, so stop trying. Live your authentic self and surround yourself with folk who love you flaws and all. You’ll never stop the critics from talking so don’t let them stop you from living.
