A sad ending to a beautiful story.
In Pennsylvania, 2 year old Logan Stevenson who was the best man in his parent’s wedding passed away this Monday evening. According to USA Today, Logan was born with Fanconi anemia, which is a rare genetic disease that decreases the production of blood cells. When told Logan only had a limited amount of time to live, his parents moved their wedding up nearly a year to make sure Logan could attend. The parents even gave him a special place in the wedding as their best man.
On Monday after having significant difficulty breathing a hospital worker explained that his time on Earth was coming to an end. His mother, Christine Swidorsky, posted on her Facebook page Monday night that Logan “at 8:18…took his last breaths in my arms”.
