I’ll be the first to admit that I have gotten upset with God a time or two in my life. He’s all powerful. How does He allow a tornado to level an entire community? Couldn’t He stop a lunatic from shooting up a school and killing innocent children? Honestly speaking, I pouted and even threatened to remove my faith in Him. You know what happened? Nothing. He is still God and my approval or disapproval of what He chooses to do doesn’t change that. Being frustrated with God expecting it to change something is the equivalence of throwing rocks at a mountain … it doesn’t affect anything. Instead, we must learn to condition ourselves to accept what God allows. The human mind will always be frustrated if the goal is to understand EVERYTHING about an omnipotent and omniscient God. Put your trust in the fact that He loves us and this world is not our final destination. HE is God, and is always in control. Whether you like that or not, doesn’t change anything.
